Get Your CTA U-Pass

City Colleges of Chicago is offering a discounted Ventra U-Pass for students enrolled in six (6) or more credit hours for college credit during the Spring 2025 semester. 这个可选的福利可以在学期内无限次乘坐CTA的巴士或火车。

Students who would like to opt in to receive a U-Pass should log in to their student portal at my.ccc.edu and fill out the U-Pass form under "Announcements." 然后，他们可以选择如何支付70美元的费用。Students may pay with cash or credit card, use available financial aid, or request financial assistance. Payment must be secured to complete the opt-in process.

Returning Students (Enrolled in six or more credit hours)

  • Enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours  
  • Do not have a negative balance on your Ventra transit account
  • Have paid the $70 fee or requested financial assistance

New Students (Enrolled in six or more credit hours)        

If you are a new student to the Ventra U-Pass program for Spring 2025, you must opt in at my.ccc.edu. Once you have opted in, you will receive an email requesting your photo and a picture of your State ID, Driver’s License, or City Key card. 当您的U-Pass准备好在商务办公室领取时，您将收到一封电子邮件。

Using Your U-Pass Between Semesters                  

While your U-Pass allows you to take free CTA rides during the semester, you will need to add funds to your Ventra account in order to use it when ag体育 are not in session (or if you are not full time).                         

How to add funds to your Ventra account:

  • At Ventra vending machines located at CTA rail stations

Rules and Conditions                

Your U-Pass Card is valid for at least five years, and you do not need to obtain a new pass every semester.   

U‐Pass is limited to exclusive use by the original full‐time student card owner. Your U‐Pass may not be shared. 如果违反任何条件，该通行证将被没收最多一学年，且不得报销，并且您需要支付50美元以获得新卡。
